Calculation Method for the Expected Date of Delivery (EDD)

  • If your last period occurred between January and March: (M+9) (D+7)
  • If your last period occurred between April and December: (M-3) (D+7)
  • If your last period occurred after the 25th: If your last period began on April 28, your expected date of delivery (EDD) would be calculated as (4-3) (28+7), which would turn out to be January 35. However, since there are only 31 days in January, your EDD would actually be February 4.
